Licensing Window Information: Please be advised that our licensing windows are now located on the first floor. The hours of operation are as follows: Thursdays: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We accept payments via check, money order, and most major credit cards. We do not accept cash under any circumstances.

New Online Licensing System Coming in December for Alarm, Locksmith, Fire Sprinkler and Welder Licensees

The Oklahoma Department of Labor is transitioning to a new online licensing platform designed to make licensing faster, easier, and more convenient. The new system is scheduled to launch in December 2026.

Affected License Types

This transition affects the following licenses:

  • Alarm, Locksmith & Fire Sprinkler
  • Welders

Temporary Processing Interruptions

During December, there will be days when we cannot process these licenses while we transition to the new system.

Applications may still be dropped off during interruptions and will be processed when service resumes. Our dropbox is located on the first floor of our office at 409 NE 28th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73105.

All Other Licensing Services Will Continue as Usual

If you hold or are applying for a license type not listed above, you will not be affected by this transition.

We apologize for any delays and appreciate your patience as we improve our services.
