New process for supplier complaint requests
OMES Central Purchasing is excited to share an improved process for submitting supplier complaint requests. Starting May 31, instead of downloading and emailing Form CP016, agencies will submit requests directly through a new catalog item in ServiceNow.
CP Compliance shifting to ServiceNow
OMES Central Purchasing Compliance is shifting to ServiceNow for request submissions, replacing the previous method of emailing the CP shared inbox.
Beginning May 2, agencies can submit compliance requests via the CP Procurement Services catalog.
Improved process for agency contracts with SW1025 and SW1050 suppliers
OMES Central Purchasing is launching an improved process for agency contracts with SW1025 and SW1050 suppliers. Starting April 29, agencies will choose their preferred vendor and submit their selection via ServiceNow. The ServiceNow request item will replace the online form that would previously be submitted through the OMES website.
This streamlined approach aims to expedite the procurement timeline and allow agencies to select vendors that best align with their specific requirements, ensuring a more individualized and efficient contracting experience. Please note, agencies should review Executive Order 2025-09 before purchasing off these contracts.
PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) 51 upgrade and code freeze
PeopleSoft Financials will be going through a PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) 51 upgrade and infrastructure upgrade. The new release will be available to financial users on Monday, May 26. PeopleSoft will be inaccessible during the weekend prior to May 26.
This upgrade will enhance the user experience for financial and purchasing teams by streamlining search processes. This includes open search functionality and advanced search options that enable users to take action or drill down on items such as vouchers, purchase orders, payments, assets, requisitions and more.
In preparation for the upgrade, OMES will place a code freeze in the PeopleSoft system on any modification that requires application development or any design changes. The code freeze will go into effect Monday, May 5. Anyone submitting a request via ServiceNow will be notified of the code freeze; however, if deemed an emergency, proper justification can be submitted by the OMES Finance Center of Excellence, Information Services or Central Purchasing divisions for review. If you have any questions regarding the code freeze, contact servicedesk@omes.ok.gov.
