Oklahoma Welcomes 15 New National Board-Certified Teachers (NBCTs)

The Office of Educational Quality and Accountability (OEQA) is thrilled to announce that the following Oklahoma educators have earned their National Board Certification this year:

  • Cheryl Dezell - Social Studies-History/Adolescence and Young Adulthood, Elgin School District
  • Robin Dyer - Generalist/Early Childhood, Coweta School District
  • Jaime Evans - Art/Early and Middle Childhood, Chickasha Public School District
  • Madeline Jacobson - Generalist/Middle Childhood, Putnam City School District
  • Joy Jennings - English as a New Language/Early and Middle Childhood, Tulsa Public Schools
  • Krystal Johnson - Generalist/Early Childhood, Stillwater Independent School District
  • Shawna Lenhart - Exceptional Needs Specialist/Early Childhood through Young Adulthood, Jay School District
  • Summer Morgan - Music/Early Adolescence through Young Adulthood, Clinton School District
  • Rachel Morris - English Language Arts/Adolescence and Young Adulthood, McAlester School District
  • Ashlie Smoke - Generalist/Early Childhood, Jay School District
  • Brittney Sprague - Generalist/Early Childhood, Oklahoma City School District
  • Elizabeth Taylor - Generalist/Early Childhood, Sapulpa School District
  • Whitney Tucker - Physical Education/Early and Middle Childhood, Morris Public Schools
