The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has taken action on the latest PSO rate application.
While the order includes a rate increase, when coupled with a planned decrease in fuel charges, it is estimated the average PSO residential customer will see an average decrease of $11.73 per month starting in January.
The Commission’s order approved an overall rate increase that is approximately $139.3 million dollars less than PSO’s original request. PSO initially sought a $294,497,000 rate increase. The Commission’s order resulted in a $131,208,000 rate increase. The rate increase for the average residential consumer is estimated at $5.35 cents a month.
The final order provides PSO with an overall 2.4% retail increase for all customer classes.
