Licensing Window Information: Please be advised that our licensing windows are now located on the first floor. The hours of operation are as follows: Thursdays: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We accept payments via check, money order, and most major credit cards. We do not accept cash under any circumstances.

Asbestos Abatement Supervisor License

The Asbestos Abatement Supervisor License is required for individuals overseeing asbestos abatement projects. This license ensures that supervisors are adequately trained and qualified to manage and direct asbestos abatement activities safely and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Purpose: The license aims to ensure that asbestos abatement projects are conducted under the supervision of knowledgeable and experienced individuals who can enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance, thereby protecting workers and the public from asbestos exposure.

Function and Use:

  • Licensed supervisors manage the day-to-day operations of asbestos abatement projects, ensuring that all activities are performed safely and according to the project plan.

  • Supervisors are responsible for directing and managing asbestos abatement workers, ensuring that they follow proper safety procedures and use the correct personal protective equipment.

  • Supervisors must complete specific training courses, including refresher training, to stay current on the latest safety practices and regulations.

  • License holders ensure that abatement projects comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Supervisors facilitate site inspections by regulatory authorities and ensure that all work complies with safety standards.

  • Licensed supervisors maintain detailed records of the project, including safety protocols, air monitoring results, and worker training certifications, to ensure compliance and facilitate regulatory review.
