Safety Standards Division Announces 2026 Industry Summits

The Oklahoma Department of Labor’s Safety Standards Division is hosting three upcoming industry summits in April 2026. These meetings provide an opportunity for industry professionals to receive important updates, ask questions, and share feedback directly with ODOL staff and inspectors.

Each summit will include updates on program operations, changes to statutes and rules, and insights from inspectors working in the field.

Elevator & Escalator Industry Summit

Date: Thursday, April 2, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: ODOL Office, 409 NE 28th St, Oklahoma City, OK (First Floor Conference Room)

Elevator and escalator companies, inspectors, and industry representatives are invited to attend and participate in discussions on program updates and industry concerns.


Amusement Ride Industry Summit

Date: Tuesday, April 14, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: ODOL Office, 409 NE 28th St, Oklahoma City, OK (First Floor Conference Room)

This summit is open to amusement ride and inflatable device owners, operators, and industry representatives. Attendees are encouraged to bring questions and discussion topics related to ride safety and compliance.


Boiler & Pressure Vessel Industry Summit

Date: Wednesday, April 15, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: ODOL Office, 409 NE 28th St, Oklahoma City, OK (First Floor Conference Room)

This session will cover updates to the Boiler/Pressure Vessel program, including regulatory changes and inspection insights.
