ODOL Launches Inflatable Ride Safety Campaign

Tuesday, August 04, 2026

Planning a birthday party, school carnival, church event, or community celebration? Before you rent an inflatable, the Oklahoma Department of Labor (ODOL) encourages you to take one simple step that can help make your event safer: look for the official ODOL inspection tag.

ODOL has launched a new statewide Inflatable Ride Safety campaign to educate parents, families, schools, churches, businesses, and event planners about choosing inflatable companies that are registered, inspected, and insured.

Look for the ODOL Inspection Tag

Every registered inflatable operating in Oklahoma should display an official Oklahoma Department of Labor inspection tag with the current year's inspection sticker attached.

The inspection tag is one of the easiest ways to identify that an inflatable has been inspected in accordance with Oklahoma's Amusement Ride Safety Program.

If you don't see the inspection tag, don't hesitate to ask the operator about it before allowing children to use the inflatable.

Watch the PSA

As part of the campaign, ODOL has released a new public service announcement encouraging Oklahomans to choose inflatable companies that are registered, inspected, and insured.

The campaign is reaching families across Oklahoma through Amazon Prime Video, YouTube TV, YouTube, social media, and cable television, including Food Network, Bravo, Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network.
