Join the 38th Annual NAARSO Safety Seminar to Strengthen Oklahoma's Safety Standards!

Tuesday, November 12, 2024

The Oklahoma Department of Labor is excited to advise the amusement industry and public of the National Association of Amusement Ride Safety Officials (NAARSO) open registration for their 38th Annual Safety Seminar, held from January 26 to January 31, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina. This seminar is an excellent opportunity for amusement ride operators, trampoline park managers, inflatable companies, and inspectors across Oklahoma to deepen their understanding of critical ASTM codes and broaden their expertise in safety protocols.

Why Attend?

NAARSO’s theme, "Safety Through Communication," underscores the importance of collaboration in ensuring safe experiences for patrons. By attending, Oklahoma businesses can not only gain insights into the latest safety standards but also connect with a broad network of safety professionals dedicated to improving amusement ride safety nationwide.

Seminar Highlights Include:

  • Expert Speakers and Hands-On Training: Industry leaders will share insights on best practices, and participants will receive hands-on training at Carowinds amusement park.
  • Certification Opportunities: Enhance your qualifications through NAARSO certification courses with tracks in Inspector Levels 1–3, Aquatic Operations, and more. Each track offers 40 hours of specialized training.
  • Networking: Build valuable connections with peers and experts, creating a support system within the safety community.

The ODOL team regularly participates in NAARSO seminars to stay updated on industry advancements. Many Oklahoma carnivals already employ NAARSO-certified inspectors, and we’re eager to see more local operators involved, particularly in trampoline parks and inflatable attractions. Early registration is encouraged to secure your spot and take advantage of discounted rates.

For more information and to register, visit NAARSO’s website or contact info@naarso.com.

Join us in supporting safer amusement experiences across Oklahoma by becoming part of this essential training and networking opportunity!
