Hosted by Oklahoma Safety Council | Taught by Quintin Jones – OKSAFE Coordinator 📅 Duration: 30 Hours 📍 Location: Oklahoma Safety Council 💲 Fee: $720 per participant 📜 CEUs: 3.00 This course is designed for individuals who want to become authorized OSHA Outreach Trainers and teach the 10- and 30-hour General Industry Outreach Training Program. Using OSHA General Industry Standards as a guide, participants will learn effective instructional techniques, hazard identification, and compliance strategies. Topics Covered: ✅ OSHA General Industry Standards, policies, and procedures ✅ Training techniques for effective safety instruction ✅ Hazard recognition, including lockout/tagout, walking surfaces, hazardous materials, and welding ✅ Conducting OSHA-compliant internal training programs ✅ OSHA recordkeeping requirements Participants must successfully pass a written exam and deliver a training presentation on an assigned topic to become authorized Outreach Trainers. Upon completion, they will be able to teach OSHA 10- and 30-hour General Industry Outreach courses and issue course completion cards.
