Annual Report & Dashboard

Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, the Statewide Charter Schools Board has the statutory charge and responsibility to produce an annual report on the status of Oklahoma charter schools.

The 2024 Annual Report of Oklahoma Charter Schools is unlike previous versions historically compiled by the Oklahoma State Department of Education presented in static reports and it marks a significant evolution in state agency public reporting. This is because it introduces a dynamic, interactive data visualization platform that allows policymakers and the public to explore and compare key performance indicators across all charter schools over the past three academic years for which the most current information is available.

The goal of the annual report is to enhance transparency, support policy analysis and foster discussions on best practices within Oklahoma’s public education system. The report can be found at the link and includes an Executive Summary and a two-minute, video tutorial on how to engage with the interactive data visualization platform.

The public is encouraged to read the Executive Summary and watch the short video tutorial first to understand how to fully access all the data available via the platform.
