Supervision Update

Both the Oklahoma Medical Board and the Oklahoma Nursing Board have issued Frequently Asked Questions regarding the new mid-level practice bills that became effective this fall. These address independent practice, prescribing and supervision agreements.
Additionally, OSBOE has created a page on Supervision that has our rules, exception request process, guidance and relevant forms/links.

OSBOE urges all supervising physicians to read these documents, visit the supervision resource page and familiarize themselves with the new processes for independent mid-level practice.
