Description
On Dec. 20, 2025, FAST, a vendor for the Oklahoma Tax Commission, identified a data breach that resulted in the loss of tax information held within the Oklahoma Taxpayer Access Point system. The system has been fixed and is secure. It is not clear how many individuals were targeted by the breach. Following the incident, the Oklahoma Tax Commission has implemented several additional security measures to prevent this event from occurring in the future.
Impacted individuals have been notified directly by mail with details regarding the event and information about complimentary credit monitoring and fraud assistance services. Affected borrowers may call the dedicated assistance line at (833) 319-9482, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central time (excluding major US holidays).
The Oklahoma Tax Commission is providing these services to affected borrowers for 24 months.
