Hope Transformation
Oklahoma Human Services was the first hope-centered, trauma-informed state agency in Oklahoma. We believe hope can be a powerful force in the lives of our clients and our workforce, and we work each day to build resiliency in ourselves, our clients and our communities.
The Workforce Community Hope Center in Oklahoma City is one example of our commitment to provide hope to Oklahomans. Clients receive comprehensive services at the Hope Center including workforce opportunities, food benefits, energy assistance, behavioral health support and legal aid.
Our Hope Transformation team collaborates with Be a Neighbor, an innovative online platform of Oklahoma nonprofit organizations, faith communities and American Indian tribes.
Visit the Be a Neighbor website to learn how to collaborate with organizations and volunteers in your neighborhood.
The Hope Transformation team provides certification for Hope Navigators who provide leadership and onsite support of the Science of Hope. In FY24, our agency welcomed 250 certified Hope Navigators to the first annual Hope Navigator Summit. Participants shared hope-centered strategies they successfully integrated into their organizations.
