Taxpayer Funding
Stewardship and transparency are important to us. State taxpayer dollars are used to meet requirements for matching federal dollars which are used to fund Oklahoma Human Services programs and services. State dollars also fund programs that have limited or no federal funding.
Investment in Our Workforce
In FY24, we continued to enhance technology to help staff serve clients more effectively as well as update and modernize workspaces in counties throughout the state. We also launched SERVE training. This agency-wide training reinforced the skills needed to treat clients and colleagues with kindness, professionalism, empathy, value and hope.
SERVE stands for:
- Start with kindness
- Engage professionally
- Respond with empathy
- Value every person
- End with hope
