Child Care Services
What We Do
Child Care Services ensures Oklahoma families have access to licensed, affordable, quality child care. Child Care Services (CCS) regulates and inspects Oklahoma’s licensed childcare providers, helping owners and operators maintain their licenses and improve their teams. Federal funding for Child Care Services is provided through the Child Care Development Block Grant.
Child Care Services staff are dedicated to enhancing the quality and accessibility of child care programs across Oklahoma. Our main objective is to work with child care providers, stakeholders and community partners to create accessible and affordable child care programs for children and families.
We offer child care owners vital support, training and resources through our Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS). Through this system, families are able to select child care programs to create enriching, quality environments where every child can thrive and be prepared for school readiness.
