211 Resources for Southeast Oklahoma

211 is a 24/7 free service available to all Oklahomans across 77 counties. 211 services for southeast Oklahoma is operated by the Tulsa Area United Way. Through a direct phone call, live chat, text message or online search, certified resource specialists connect people across the state who need help to the social services in their area that can help. 211 also serves as a clearinghouse for disaster resources during community emergencies.


Wildfire Safety Information for Southeast Oklahoma

If you have a home or cabin in southeast Oklahoma, Oklahoma Forestry Services has tips at staysafeok.org to help you prevent damage from wildfires. For those who will be visiting the area for the eclipse, look for the QR Code below in your cabin or rental property for quick access to evacuation routes in case a wildfire occurs during your stay. Oklahoma National Guard to Assist McCurtain County Amid Influx of Eclipse Tourism

At the request of McCurtain County Emergency Management, the Oklahoma National Guard will have members of the 63rd Civil Support Team available to assist local government agencies during the time surrounding the April 8, 2024 eclipse.  Members of the team will be available to provide local first responders with additional HAZMAT response capabilities.
