Responsible Beverage Sales and Service Training (RBSS) is a partnership between the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission (ABLE). The training program provides owners, managers, and servers of establishments that serve/sell alcohol with the knowledge and skills to help them serve/sell alcohol responsibly and fulfill the legal requirements of alcohol service. The class is free of charge and provides valuable Oklahoma specific alcohol merchant education.

On-Demand RBSS Training

Responsible Beverage Sales & Service (RBSS) Training is an online training developed in partnership with the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission (ABLE). RBSS training is required for all individuals selling or serving alcohol in stores, restaurants, or bars, and is designed to promote the legal and responsible sale and service of alcoholic beverages in Oklahoma. This training will soon be available as an eLearning course that will teach the skills and techniques used to recognize the signs of intoxication, the effects of alcohol on the body and behavior, ID checking, and intervention techniques for dealing with intoxicated and underage customers. This course is free and available through the ODMHSAS Training Institute.
