Red Rock Behavioral Health has been named as the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), supporting Cleveland and McClain Counties. CCBHCs are a new provider type in Medicaid being offered across Oklahoma, under the leadership and vision of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
Red Rock and ODMHSAS are extending an invitation to all community partners, stakeholders and advocates from both counties. Media members are also welcome to attend the event and hear from state legislators, Red Rock's Chief Executive Officer Verna Foust and ODMHSAS Commissioner Carrie Slatton-Hodges. The celebration will be at 4:00 pm on Nov. 21, 2023 at the Noun Hotel in Norman, Oklahoma.
CCBHCs are designed to provide a comprehensive range of mental health and substance use disorder services to vulnerable individuals.
CCBHCs represent an opportunity for states to improve the behavioral health of their citizens by: providing community-based mental and substance use disorder services; advancing integration of behavioral health with physical health care; assimilating and utilizing evidence-based practices on a more consistent basis; and promoting improved access to high-quality care. Care coordination is the linchpin holding these aspects of CCBHC care together and ensuring high-quality care and improved outcomes.
Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is celebrating at the NOUN Hotel to commemorate the newly certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023. The event will run from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
