State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure
The mission of the State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure is to protect the public by promoting and enforcing laws and regulations which govern the practice of Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Marital and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Licensed Behavioral Practitioners (LBP).
Board Interpretation of Rules or Statutes:
The Board's staff can point you toward the rules and statutes and give general info, but the Board's staff cannot tell you how to interpret them or give you legal advice.
If you need actual legal advice or help understanding how the rules apply to your specific situation, you will need to speak to a lawyer or other qualified professional.
