The mission of the State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure is to protect the public by promoting and enforcing laws and regulations which govern the practice of Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), Licensed Marital and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Licensed Behavioral Practitioners (LBP).

The Counseling Compact Executive Committee has approved Draft Rules to be posted for public comment. The public comment period begins June 18, 2024, and ends on August 11, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. MT.
