County Restriction Spirits and Mixed Beverages

County Retail Spirit Sales on Sunday

Oklahoma statute prohibits the sale of retail spirits on Sunday unless local voters approve it through a county election.  If passed, retail spirits stores can open from noon to midnight on Sundays.

Mixed Beverage County Restriction

Mixed beverage licensees (bars, restaurants, clubs) may sell, serve, or allow alcohol consumption from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. on regular days. Oklahoma law allows each county to determine whether sales by the individual drink (mixed beverages) are allowed on Sundays and certain holidays. Counties can prohibit these sales on those days if voters choose.
