State government invests to help businesses thrive

Tuesday, August 24, 2021

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Office of Management and Enterprise Services will host the first-ever State Suppliers Expo this October at the Oklahoma City Convention Center. This free, come-and-go event will seek to expand public-private partnerships and provide businesses, big and small, more awareness around opportunities to work with the State of Oklahoma. The expo will showcase current and upcoming projects within state government, connecting businesses and Oklahoma leaders to fulfill agency needs. OMES and other state agencies are putting Oklahoma first; we want to empower our local economies and ensure the best value for the citizens and state agencies we serve.

“From the very start of his administration, Governor Stitt pushed for innovation and efficiency within state government,” said state Chief Operating Officer Steven Harpe. "This expo provides more opportunities for private-sector companies to work alongside the state in our mission to deliver critical services. We are bridging the gap between our state government and Oklahoma suppliers to build better relationships.”
