Ellen J. Hardy is an Administrative Assistant II for the DPS First Responder Wellness Division, joining the agency in 2026. She was employed by the Oklahoma Commission on Children and Youth in the Office of Planning and Coordination as an Administrative Assistant II since 2020. She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections in the records department, beginning in 2018.

Ellen’s gift is in serving others both professionally and personally. It’s her passion to meet people where there are, as she was met in hers by friends, therapists, physicians, and even strangers. She is transparent in sharing her lived experiences, knowing that God will use to open doors to help others.  

In her spare time, Ellen enjoys spending time outdoors, entertaining and planning activities, working out (she is a certified Mossa Body Power instructor), listening to live music, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
