Scam Alert – Fraudulent Contact Attempts Impersonating DEA

We have been notified of a scam targeting healthcare providers, including chiropractors, involving individuals falsely claiming to represent the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

These individuals may contact you by phone or email stating there is a problem with your DEA registration and may request personal information or payment. Please be aware that the DEA does not demand payment or sensitive information over the phone.

If you receive a suspicious call or message:

Do not provide any information.
Do not send payment.
Contact your local DEA field office directly to verify the communication.

Please remain cautious and report any suspicious activity to the DEA.
