Mission Statement
The mission of the Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners is to regulate the qualification for licensure and examination as Chiropractors; protect the public and Chiropractic in reference to complaints through public meeting and hearing pursuant to the Chiropractic Practice Act; approve educational programs required for annual license renewal and to foster higher professional standards relative to the practice of Chiropractic in the state of Oklahoma as is consistent with the best interest of the health,welfare, and safety of the public.
BOARD POLICY REGARDING INTERPRETATION OF RULES OR STATUTES
Please be advised that it is the policy of the Board that if a member of the public makes a request for advice or interpretation of Board Rule or Statute, Board staff is to advise that person to contact their CPA, attorney, or other professional who can interpret the Rule and/or Statute in light of that person's specific needs and circumstances.
Online Applications
Please read the instructions carefully on the application and all other paperwork to be submitted for the application process, to ensure that you have successfully completed all requirements. Please note that submission of your application without errors ensures that there will be no delays in the processing of your application.
All transcripts, diplomas, and NBCE test scores need to be certified copies and will need to be sent directly from the schools and NBCE to the Board office. A certified copy of your chiropractic diploma and final transcripts must be directly sent from the chiropractic college after you graduate if you have not graduated prior to being approved to sit for the examination.
If you are already licensed in another state, country, territory, or province a certified copy of the chiropractic license and/or a verification of licensure, and any other license you may have or have held to practice in any other healing art must be submitted from the state, country, territory, or province that issued the license.
Falsification or omission of any information on the application will be grounds for disapproval by the Board of Chiropractic Examiners prior to the examination.
Helpful Information
Once officially approved, the applicant will receive an email from NBCE with further instructions. After registration is fully completed, there is a 2-3 business day wait time to receive the link to take the jurisprudence examination.
After receiving the link, the applicant can start at any time. Two weeks after the exam, the NBCE will post the examinee’s score to their MyNBCE account.
