Exam Information Details

Your application for licensure must be submitted to the Board office prior to registering for the examination. The exam will be administered electronically by National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE).

  • 52 multiple choice questions
  • Available 24/7 online
  • PASS = 75% or better
  • Exam Fee is paid to NBCE

You will need to submit the application for licensure first, before you can apply to take the jurisprudence examination.

Once the application is submitted, the applicant can go to MyNBCE Online Applicant Portal and request pre-approval to schedule for the exam.

NBCE will then submit the request to the State Board (OBCE) for review. Once the request is received, we can then send approval for the exam.

Once officially approved, the applicant will receive an email from NBCE with further instructions. After registration is fully completed, there is a 2-3 business day wait time to receive the link to take the jurisprudence examination.

After receiving the link, the applicant can start at any time. Two weeks after the exam, the NBCE will post the examinee’s score to their MyNBCE account.
