Miscellaneous License Guide
Miscellaneous licenses include specialized or less common authorizations, such as additional hours, caterer and storage, complimentary beverage, industrial, or other niche permits that don’t fit standard manufacturer, wholesale, retail, or event categories.

This information is strictly for guidance and may not be a comprehensive list of all authorizations provided for a particular license. Miscellaneous License Types:
ADH – Additional Hours
Authorizes holders of a Caterer, Public Event, or Special Event license to sell, dispense, or serve alcoholic beverages from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Authorizes the holder to sell mixed beverages for on-premises consumption incidental to the sale or distribution of food at functions, occasions, or events which are temporary in nature.
A caterer license shall not be issued in lieu of a mixed beverage license, and food sales must constitute at least 35% of the caterer’s total combined annual sales.
Each caterer shall electronically submit an annual sales report containing revenue attributable to alcoholic beverages, food, and all other revenues for the catering service to the ABLE Commission 30 days prior to the expiration of the license.
Each caterer shall submit a monthly event report on the first of the month containing information on all events scheduled for the subsequent month. If an event becomes scheduled for the same month after the report has been submitted, the caterer shall report that event within 24 hours of scheduling or 24 hours prior to the event, whichever comes first.
Authorizes the holder to provide, free of charge for on-premises consumption only, no more than 2 alcoholic beverages containing spirits, wine, or beer per day to a guest or client who is 21 years of age or older.
Note: A Complimentary Beverage license shall not be issued to a business which possesses any other form of ABLE license, except for event licenses.
Authorizes the holder to import, transport, and use alcohol in the manufacture of patent, proprietary, medicinal, pharmaceutical, antiseptic, and toilet preparations; manufacture of extracts, syrups, condiments, and food products; and in scientific, chemical mechanical, industrial, and medicinal products and purposes.
Authorizes the holder, who is any person not otherwise a dealer in alcoholic beverages, coming into possession of any alcoholic beverages as security for or in payment of a debt, or as an insurer for the salvage or liquidation of an insured casualty or damage or loss to sell alcoholic beverages in one lot or parcel to a duly licensed wholesaler or beer distributor at an agreed-upon price without regard to current posted prices.

Licenses Required for Import and Shipment of Alcoholic Beverages
Authorizes the holder of a Small Farm Winery or Winemaker license to operate no more than 2 satellite locations in addition to the original licensed premise for the purpose of providing tastings, samples, and retail sales for on-premises or off-premises consumption.
Note: The holder of the Satellite Tasting Room license shall maintain the Small Farm Winery or Winemaker license in good standing and only serve wine produced/manufactured by the holder of a Small Farm Winery or Winemaker.
