Laura Rudicel is the Director of Communications and Marketing for the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics, where she leads strategic communications, public relations, and integrated marketing efforts to support the agency’s mission and statewide aerospace initiatives. She brings extensive experience in destination branding, public-sector communications, and executive messaging, with a proven track record of building and elevating high-impact brands.

Prior to joining the Department, she served as Director of Marketing for OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark, where she led the organization’s pre-opening through launch strategy, driving national media coverage, strong demand during peak seasons, and award-winning campaign execution. She previously held senior marketing leadership roles at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and Conner & Winters, LLP, where she transformed marketing functions into data-driven, revenue-generating strategic assets.

Earlier in her career, Laura worked in agency, public health, and broadcast journalism roles, building a strong foundation in storytelling, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies from Emory University and is active in the Oklahoma City community through the March of Dimes and other civic organizations.
