Required documents:
1) Must meet the requirements through educational or real estate transaction experience noted on the Point Waiver Program. Please note any transactional experience completed while you have held an active license cannot be accepted. In most cases, currently active licensees do NOT qualify for the Point Waiver program.
Special note: Any real estate transaction experience being used to meet the requirements must have been completed without the assistance of a brokerage. Additionally, proof of the transaction must be submitted through purchase contracts only. Quit Claim Deeds, mortgage paperwork, etc. will not be accepted. No drafted documents will be accepted.
2) Completion of the following coursework within the past three years (do NOT complete coursework without submitting Point Waiver request and supporting documentation):
- 90 hour salesperson pre-license course
- 45 hour post-license course
- 90 hour broker pre-license course
Application process:
1) Review the Point Waiver Program requirements and submit proof of educational experience or transaction experience. E-mail your request to be considered for the Point Waiver Program and proof of experience and education to bailey@orec.ok.gov
2) Once approved by OREC, complete required coursework and submit course completion certificates to bailey@orec.ok.gov

3) Once all documents are received, OREC staff will submit your application to Pearson VUE to schedule an exam. Pearson VUE will send you an automated e-mail within 48 hours that will provide a link to schedule your Broker's exam online.
