Appointees

The Board of Examiners in Optometry consists of five individuals who are appointed by the Governor of the State. Four of the members are licensed optometrists who have been engaged in the practice of optometry in Oklahoma for at least five years. The term of each licensed optometrist member is five years. The fifth member is a lay person who is also appointed by the Governor. The lay member serves a term coterminous with that of the governor.
