Mission Statement

The mission of the Oklahoma Board of Examiners in Optometry is to protect the public by regulating the practice of Optometry in the state of Oklahoma through education and licensing, and to insure that optometrists practice within the provisions of the law.

About the Board

The State Board of Examiners in Optometry is the official licensing agency for the practice of optometry in the state of Oklahoma. The Board consists of five members, each appointed by the Governor to serve for a period of five years.
