OKLAHOMA CITY – General Revenue Fund collections in August totaled $604.4 million, which is $7.8 million, or 1.3%, below the monthly estimate. This total is also $5.3 million, or 0.9%, above collections from August 2025.
GRF collections for the first two months of fiscal year 2027 stand at $1.1 billion. This is $15.6 million, or 1.4%, below the year-to-date estimate and $87.5 million, or 7.2%, below collections from the same period in FY 2026.
"Collections remain generally in line with expectations for the early months of the new fiscal year," said OMES Director Mark Wood. "While timing factors and variability in corporate income tax affected some categories, the broader picture remains steady, with several major revenue sources performing well against estimates and year-over-year totals."

As state government’s main operating fund, the GRF is the key indicator of state government’s fiscal status and the predominant funding source for the annual appropriated state budget. GRF collections are revenues that remain for the appropriated state budget after rebates, refunds and other mandatory apportionments, and after sales and use taxes are remitted back to municipalities. In contrast, gross collections, reported by the state treasurer, are all revenues remitted to the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
