To receive this service through the Area Agencies on Aging (AAA), the individual must be 60 years or older, and own and live in the home that needs repair. Contact 1-800-211-2116 or the AAA directly for service availability.

Environmental modifications, like grab bars or ramps, are available to eligible participants through the Home and Community-Based ADvantage Waiver program.  

These services through the Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) help older Oklahomans stay in their homes. To be eligible, the individual must be 60 years or older and need assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).

Light housekeeping can be provided to eligible participants through the Home and Community-Based ADvantage Waiver program or the State Plan Personal Care program.   

State Plan Personal Care serves children through older adults with daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, getting in and out of bed, meals, etc.

Personal care services can be provided to eligible participants in their home through the Home and Community-Based ADvantage Waiver program including daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, getting in and out of bed, and advanced tasks such as routine care of ostomies and catheters, administering bowel programs, and providing range of motion.

  • To receive services, the older Oklahoman must be 60 years or older. A network of organizations works to assist with your transportation needs through the Area Agencies on Aging (AAA).  Call 1-800-211-2116 for more information or contact the AAA directly to learn about available transportation services.
  • Limited transportation services are available to eligible participants that chose to self-direct their personal care services through the Home and Community-Based ADvantage Waiver program
