Child Welfare Services (CWS) staff works to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children every single day. Using our department goals, we champion programs that build stronger families and help ensure safe homes for all children, including connections to community and culture. We pursue every child’s right to connect to a stable and loving family and the support services they need to grow and develop into healthy adults.

In FY23, we reached a major milestone in the agency’s plan to reform foster care in Oklahoma.
