Linking Policy

The Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs (OJA) website has links to other sites that the Department believes may be useful to site visitors. These links contain content that is not controlled by OJA staff, and in some cases, is not controlled by the State of Oklahoma. No endorsement is intended or made of any link, product, service or information either by its inclusion or exclusion from this portal.

Links to Government websites

OJA can add a link to any public government website unless directed not to by the agency that owns the site. OJA also links to quasi-government agencies and websites created by public sector/private sector partnerships; federal, state and local government sites; and some government-sponsored websites that end in .com, .org, or .net. OJA neither controls nor guarantees the accuracy, relevance, timeliness or completeness of the information contained in these website links. Links to Non-Government websites

In some instances, OJA links to websites that are not government-owned or sponsored if these sites provide government information and/or services in a way that is not available on an official government website. OJA will not include links to non-government, commercial, political affiliation, or other sites, which further the agenda of a political organization or candidate running for office. OJA provides these links as a public service only. Neither OJA nor the Department’s employees endorse or guarantee in any way the external organizations, services, advice, or products included in these website links. Furthermore, OJA neither controls nor guarantees the accuracy, relevance, timeliness or completeness of the information contained in these website links. Featured Links

OJA may highlight links of special interest to site visitors by posting them in a position of prominence on the OJA website. Featured links may include: online services; seasonal information; current topics on the minds of clients/customers, businesses or government officials; local resources and information; cross-agency portals that enhance the public's interaction with government; and new links.

Prohibitions

OJA will not link to websites that exhibits hate, bias, or discrimination. Also, OJA reserves the right to deny or remove any link that contains misleading or inaccurate information, or is determined to be in conflict with OJA mission or policies.

Disclaimer of Endorsement

The information posted on the OJA website includes links to information created and maintained by other public and/or private organizations. When users select a link to an external website, they are leaving the OJA website and are subject to the privacy and security policies of the owners/sponsors of the non-OJA website.
