Linking Policy
The Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) Web site has links to other sites that the Department believes may be useful to site visitors. These links contain content that is not controlled by OKDHS staff, and in some cases, is not controlled by the State of Oklahoma. No endorsement is intended or made of any link, product, service or information either by its inclusion or exclusion from this portal.
Links to Government Web sites
OKDHS can add a link to any public government Web site unless directed not to by the agency that owns the site. OKDHS also links to quasi-government agencies and Web sites created by public sector/private sector partnerships; federal, state and local government sites (e.g., www.ok.gov or www.firstgov.gov); and some government-sponsored Web sites that end in .com, .org, or .net. OKDHS neither controls nor guarantees the accuracy, relevance, timeliness or completeness of the information contained in these Web site links. Links to Non-Government Web sites
In some instances, OKDHS links to Web sites that are not government-owned or sponsored if these sites provide government information and/or services in a way that is not available on an official government Web site. OKDHS will not include links to non-government, commercial, political affiliation, or other sites, which further the agenda of a political organization or candidate running for office. OKDHS provides these links as a public service only. Neither OKDHS nor the Department’s employees endorse or guarantee in any way the external organizations, services, advice, or products included in these Web site links. Furthermore, OKDHS neither controls nor guarantees the accuracy, relevance, timeliness or completeness of the information contained in these Web site links. Featured Links
OKDHS may highlight links of special interest to site visitors by posting them in a position of prominence on the OKDHS Web site. Featured links may include: online services; seasonal information; current topics on the minds of clients/customers, businesses or government officials; local resources and information; cross-agency portals that enhance the public's interaction with government; and new links.
Prohibitions
OKDHS will not link to any Web site that exhibits hate, bias, or discrimination. Also, OKDHS reserves the right to deny or remove any link that contains misleading or inaccurate information, or is determined to be in conflict with OKDHS mission or policies.
Disclaimer of Endorsement
The information posted on the OKDHS Web site includes links to information created and maintained by other public and/or private organizations. When users select a link to an external Web site, they are leaving the OKDHS Web site and are subject to the privacy and security policies of the owners/sponsors of the non-OKDHS Web site.
- OKDHS does not control or guarantee the accuracy, relevance, timeliness or completeness of information contained on a linked Web site
