So often, we focus our attention only on the physical aspect of intimate partner
violence. This presentation brings the concept of coercive control to the forefront of our understanding of intimate partner violence. During this presentation, participants will explore patterns and dynamics of coercive control, perpetrator behavior, impact on victims, and lethality risk assessment. Community resources for victims of intimate partner violence will be identified.
