Designed for a multidisciplinary audience, this training will provide an overview of adult sex offenders including how sexual interest/preference in children and pro-offending attitudes contribute to child sexual abuse; differences between male and female who sexually offend; and strategies and goals of “grooming behaviors” used by adult sex offenders. Further, information on how this information can be used to promote adult-focused child abuse prevention education and strategies will be provided. Cory Jewell Jensen is a nationally renowned expert who has worked with adult sex offenders and their families for more than 30 years. Her knowledge of adults who engage in illegal sexual behaviors with children is based in research and extensive clinical experience. All participants must wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
