Agency Data and Reports
Financial
The Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) is a non-appropriated state agency. The primary source of revenue is nurse licensure fees. OBN's budget includes expenses for personnel, equipment, professional services, office space and other administrative costs.
62 O.S. § 211 requires OBN to pay 10% of all fees collected, excluding administrative penalites and recovery costs, to the General Revenue Fund of the state for appropriation by the legislature to various other agencies and services of state government.
Beginning in 2024, HB 3357 requires OBN to fund the tax credit for Oklahoma Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) who serve as preceptors for APRN students by allocating $4.00 from every annual APRN licensure fee collected.
