Notice: The Oklahoma Board of Nursing offices moved to the M.C. Connors Building at the State Capitol Complex (see map) in calendar year 2022.

Document Drop Off: The Board of Nursing provides the majority of services through the web-based Nurse Portal (more information), email, phone, fax and mail. Through the Nurse Portal (sign in or create account), applications, renewals, name changes and address changes are submitted in an electronic format. Individuals conducting in-person business should call (405) 962-1800 from the Connors Building lobby and board staff will meet you on the first floor to provide assistance. In-person document deliveries are permitted during agency business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CST, excluding State Holidays (oklahoma.gov). No after hours drop box is available.

A Little History...

  • In 1926, the Board voted to pay $10 per month, and the costs of heat and light, in the home of the secretary-treasurer as renumeration for the home serving as the Board office.
  • In 1938, the office of the Board was moved to the Commerce Exchange Building and a full-time stenographer was employed.
  • In 1962, the office relocated to the Sequoyah Memorial Office Building in the State Capitol Complex.
  • In 1970, the office was moved to the Lincoln Office Plaza, on North Lincoln Blvd.
  • In 1985, the Board office relocated to the Cameron Building, on North Classen Blvd., in Oklahoma City.
  • Since 2022, the Oklahoma Board of Nursing has resided in the Connors Building in the State Capitol Complex.
