Non-Qualifying Communities
Due to the rural aspect of the scholarship, communities near Oklahoma City and Tulsa may not qualify for residency location. To qualify as a rural community, the city must be located in Oklahoma and must fall outside of a 30-mile radius of Tulsa and a 35-mile radius of Oklahoma City. Lawton is also excluded due to its significant population and urban infrastructure.
