Red Dot Sight Transition Training

This 16-hour course is for officers moving from traditional sights to Red Dot Sights (RDS) or looking to increase their proficiency with RDS. This interactive hands-on training discusses various topics, including zeroing the red dot techniques, utilizing information to get more accurate shots, and optimizing red dot usage at varying distances/conditions. Prerequisite: Must be an active commissioned officer. Commission card will be checked before training. Required Supplies: Participants must bring an agency-issued or approved firearm (with RMR), 500 rounds of ammunition, duty belt/holster, extra magazines, eye protection, and hearing protection.
