Self Defense Act Instructor

The Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training, in support of the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act, creates the criteria for becoming a Concealed Weapons Instructor and validates that an instructor has met the requirements necessary to become an instructor for the purpose of teaching classes required to obtain a concealed handgun license.

CLEET does not issue the Concealed Weapon License or the Concealed Weapon Instructor License.

For information about the Concealed Weapon License and Concealed Weapon Instructor License, visit the OSBI's Concealed Weapons Licensing page.

CLEET has statutory requirement to create the criteria for which must be met before being licensed as a firearms instructor pursuant to the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act.
