Employee Separations

When an employee is separated from employment, it has the potential to impact an employer's unemployment tax rate. This is why its important for employers to get notified and respond to employee separations or even pre-file. Learn more at the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission's Employee Separation page.

State Unemployment Tax

Most employers in Oklahoma are required to pay a contribution rate to the Oklahoma Unemployment Insurance (UI) Trust Fund.
