Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst Board (OLBAB) News
In accordance with recently approved statutory changes, administrative oversight for the
Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analysts Board (OLBAB) will transition to the Oklahoma State
Board of Examiners of Psychologists (OSBEP) effective November 1, 2026.
The Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst Board (OLBAB) was established to license Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and certify Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) practicing in the state of Oklahoma. OLBAB also has responsibility for regulating the practice of applied behavior analysis in Oklahoma.
OLBAB and OSBEP are working collaboratively to ensure a smooth, efficient, and transparent transition process. At this time, there are no immediate changes to existing licenses, certification requirements, standards of practice, or ongoing regulatory responsibilities. Licensees and stakeholders should continue to conduct business with OLBAB as they normally would until further notice.
Additional information regarding implementation timelines, operational updates, and any future changes affecting licensees or stakeholders will be communicated as details become available. Stakeholder engagement and ongoing communication will remain a priority throughout the transition process.
OLBAB and OSBEP remain committed to protecting the public and supporting the profession while maintaining continuity of services during this transition.

As additional information becomes available, updates will be posted on the Board's websites and communicated to licensees and stakeholders.
