ANNUAL LICENSE RENEWAL INFORMATION

The Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (OSBEP) annual renewal period opens October 15 and closes December 31 each year. All renewal requirements, including Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and payment of renewal fees, must be completed online by December 31 to maintain an active license status.

Renewal Requirements

To renew an active psychologist license, licensees must complete the following through the online renewal system:

  • Verify and update contact information
  • Enter Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits
  • Complete required attestation questions
  • Complete the Workforce Survey
  • Pay the annual renewal fee

Renewal Fee

A $400 non-refundable renewal fee is required prior to processing the request.

  • Online through the renewal portal using a credit card (Note: A credit card convenience fee may also be included); or
  • By check mailed to the Board office and postmarked no later than December 31

Late submissions are subject to statutory late penalties.

License Status After December 31

If all renewal requirements, including CPE and renewal fees, are not completed by December 31, the license will become INVALID on January 1. Practicing psychology without a valid license may result in disciplinary action or Board complaint proceedings.

Inactive Status

Licensees who are not actively practicing may request inactive status through the renewal system and pay an inactive fee of $150.

Tax Compliance Reminder

Pursuant to Senate Bill 1040, licenses cannot be renewed if the licensee is not compliant with the Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC). Licenses subject to an OTC hold will remain invalid until the Board receives official release notification and all renewal requirements are completed.
