The OUBCC is not currently in the rulemaking process and there are no rules for consideration and comment at this time. Please check back on this page for updates. Rulemaking is expected to start in the fall of 2026 to adopt the 2024 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code. The OUBCC will also be making amendments to the 2024 editions of the International Building Code, International Existing Building Code, International Fire Code and International Residential Code to address changes related to affordable housing and consolidated dwellings.
