Change can happen on your first day
A participant in the Career Pathways Digital Skills Cohort recently achieved significant milestones. After completing the program and earning IT certification, she graduated earlier this year from a supportive reentry program. Upon graduating from the cohort, she secured an internship with a major company. Although the internship didn’t lead to a permanent position, she remained determined, took a role at a retail warehouse, and continued applying for positions that aligned with her skills.
Her perseverance paid off when she interviewed for a position with the State and received a generous offer. She even called to confirm the offer letter, thinking there might be an error due to the impressive salary. This new opportunity has set her and her family on an exciting, positive path. Witnessing her journey was truly inspiring!
