Change can happen on your first day

from Work Ready Oklahoma located at the Workforce Community Hope Center

A woman came to our first workshop at the Workforce Community Hope Center. She said she was really struggling. Her goal was to sharpen her skills and find a job to help support her family. She had a great attitude and soaked up the knowledge of the workshop. She put in the effort and really enjoyed it. She had a job offer before she left that day but she did not think it was the perfect fit. She then interviewed for a job with Oklahoma Human Services that she really wanted and got it! She started several weeks ago and is training in her new job. She said she has been telling her friends, family and neighbors about Work Ready Oklahoma at the Workforce Community Hope Center and hopes others will attend and benefit as much as she has.
