Description
This course will address issues, common with the transition to an RDS equipped pistol. The student will learn new techniques associated with RDS equipped pistols, as well as malfunction drills and immediate action drills. The students will start in the classroom with some lecture covering the basics of the RDS, followed by range drills and varying courses of fire. Students need to bring: RDS equipped pistol (with functional iron sights), 3 double stack magazines (5 if single stack), Duty rig with duty style holster designed for the specific weapon/ RDS combination, 600 rounds of ammunition (no steal core), Eye and Ear protection, cleaning kit and adjustment tools that came with the RDS, range attire, and note taking material.
