Description
Northwest Technology Center is proud to partner with Oklahoma State Panhandle University to offer this essential training for law enforcement geared toward Tactical Medicine and Active Killing Events.
This two-day, hands-on training equips patrol officers with essential skills in Tactical Medicine, Officer Survival, and Active Shooter Response. Through a blend of classroom instruction and force-on-force scenarios, attendees will learn life-saving techniques, refine decision-making under stress, and master strategies for controlling chaos in critical incidents.
Day One focuses on Tactical Medicine fundamentals, including tourniquet application, wound packing, and chest seals, building a foundation for immersive, high-stress role play scenarios that dominate the senses on day two.
Day Two. Participants will navigate unpredictable radio dispatches, refine communication skills, and practice solo-officer responses to active threats while prioritizing innocent lives. Key topics include reunification strategies, next-of-kin notifications, and maintaining a mindset of control and composure in life-or-death situations. Participants should bring full duty gear and wear work-ready attire suitable for realistic training environments.
